KJ-Isolation Film/Perforated Isolation Film (Room Temperature)

Product Overview

KJ-Isolation Film is a material that can withstand temperatures up to 150°C and is used in the vacuum bag molding process as a barrier and release layer. It comes in two types: perforated and non-perforated. The materials used for the isolation film include polyester, polyolefin, PP (Polypropylene), and FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene). Depending on the material, the temperature resistance of the isolation film varies from 120°C to 240°C. It facilitates more uniform resin flow and assists in the demolding process with the release cloth.

Applicable Scope

Non-porous isolation films are commonly used in wet vacuum bag processes and do not absorb excess resin from the product; perforated isolation films are more commonly used in dry vacuum bag processes and are suitable for most resin systems such as unsaturated and epoxy resins.
