KJ-815 industrial rubber

Product Overview

KJ-815 Tooling Rubber is an uncured, non-silicone rubber used for the manufacture of pressure equalization boards, flexible core rods, and rubber tooling. In the autoclave curing process, KJ-815 pressure-enhancing pads provide even pressure distribution and can withstand high temperatures similar to silicone rubber, but without causing silicone contamination. When used with tooling prepreg materials, KJ-815 maintains dimensional stability, adheres well to prepreg materials, and does not produce volatiles that can cause delamination.

Applicable Scope

1. Improved part quality and reduced scrap can be achieved due to better thickness control and reinforced corners; 2. Reworking is reduced by eliminating surface wrinkles, voids, and pinholes; 3. Part warpage caused by uneven layering during the curing process is avoided.
